Join the Institute for the Study of Free Enterprise for the event "Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World" with Robert Lawson and Benjamin Powell on May 6th, 2021.

Lawson and Powell's talk will be based on the pair's similarly-titled book Socialism Sucks: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World, which explores the notion that "socialism fails to deliver on any of the utopian promises it makes and instead is very bad for your economic (and other) health."

The event is free and open to the public. It will be a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual attendance options. Please join us either in-person in Gatton B&E Kincaid Auditorium, room 111, or virtually via Zoom from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Due to COVID-19 regulations, in-person attendance will be limited to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. If you plan to attend this event virtually, CLICK HERE to register and receive a reminder with the direct Zoom link on May 6th.
